Description
The leaves of the malva plant are dried and used to treat a variety of ailments. They are anti-inflammatory, demulcent, expectorant, astringent, and can help with the recovery of gastritis and stomach ulcers, sore throats and dry coughs, laryngitis and pharyngitis, emphysema, and inflammation of the larynx. They can also be used externally as a compress for abscesses, boils, and minor burns, as an eye wash, gargle, and foot bath.

MALLOW LEAF TEA
Pour 1 cup of boiling water over 2 teaspoons of herb. Infuse for 10-15 min. Strain and drink 3 times a day.
